Swimming!

This weekend, Nathan and Mommy went to see a couple of Mommy’s friends. Everyone stayed overnight at a hotel in Brookfield, WI, where Nathan went swimming for the first time.

After swimming, Nathan was tired, so he took a quick nap:

Nathan’s First Basketball Game

Nathan went to his first Badger men’s basketball game today and he had a great time!

Day 2 of rice cereal was just as messy. Nathan loves it and can’t shovel it in his mouth fast enough:

Nathan turned five months old today! He celebrated by having rice cereal for the first time. He seemed to like it because he gobbled it right up:

Nathan’s Long Weekend

The weekend of Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday, the LaQua family came to town. On Saturday, Grandpa George and Grandma Chris came to visit as well.  Nathan got to ride Uncle Cale’s skateboard:

Relaxing Weekend

This past weekend, Nathan had a nice, relaxing weekend at home. He caught up on his reading:

Nathan’s Auntie Kim let us borrow one of her highchairs. He loves it. He sits with us at dinnertime so he can see what’s going on:

After a day at “school,” Nathan likes to relax in the evenings. Games he plays with Mommy and Daddy make him smile and giggle:

Happy New Year!

Nathan celebrated his first New Year’s with friends and family.  It was sad saying good-bye to 2009, but 2010 will bring a lot of big events as well.
